We have made some nice wear parts!

We regularly make these types of “scrapchoppers” for the steel production industry.

These parts are mounted in so-called ‘Slitting Line’ machines. This production step produces waste, which is cut into small pieces by the scrapchopper blades, so that it can be reused as a raw material.

For the best result, we naturally only use the best steel qualities. For this application, we use special ‘nickel steel’.

This specific high-quality steel quality often has a very long delivery time. In order to support our customers in this, we currently have more than 100 tons in stock, in various sizes.

Because we are equipped with the most modern CNC processing machines controlled by CAD/CAM software, we can provide the scrap choppers with a 3D pre-milled curve on the cutting surface.

This operation saves the customer a lot of time when sharpening the blades to final size!
