Sometimes, you can simply do it all yourself
That’s what we did with this special grip jaw. To increase the clamping range of a machine vice, we designed this custom grip jaw. With this design, we can extend the span of the machine vice. How brilliant is it that we just happened to have the material, grade 1.2767, in stock!
After precise drafting in our SolidWorks software, we cut and milled the material ourselves on our five-axis CNC machine. This material, known for its excellent properties in applications requiring high toughness and strength, is perfect for the job. Once the components returned from our partner, who hardened them according to our own specific recipes for maximum wear resistance, we engraved the ruler and name of the clamp with our fibre laser.
