We had an interview with Mariëtte about her journey at Willpro.
Can you introduce yourself briefly and tell us how you joined Willpro?
Hi, my name is Mariëtte Prins, and I am the Office Manager at Willpro. I have been working here since the spring of 2011. At the time, I was looking for a new job and came across Willpro. “When I saw the job opening, I wasn’t sure if it was the right fit for me. A friend said, ‘Just give it a try.’ And now, 14 years later, I’m still here and loving it.”
What does your job involve, and what do you enjoy most about it?
My role is very broad and varied. I prepare quotations, process orders, and ensure production orders are created when needed. I also handle part of the financial administration, purchasing, HR, and I’m responsible for quality management. The variety makes my job interesting—no day ever goes as planned, and that’s what keeps it dynamic and challenging.
What makes Willpro a great place to work for you?
The freedom to plan my own tasks (as long as it aligns with priorities) and the continuous focus on improvement. We are always looking for ways to work more efficiently and ensure even higher quality. The work atmosphere is also great—everyone respects each other and works towards the same goal: ensuring Willpro delivers quality.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I love going for walks and doing creative crafts, especially anything related to handwork.
