We have again produced awesome wearparts!

We regularly produce this type of “scrapchoppers”  for steel producers.

Scrapchoppers are installed into so-called “Slitting Line” machines in order to cut up scrap metal into small pieces which in-turn is re-used as raw-material to close the cycle.

In order to achieve the best results we only use premium grades steel! For this specific application we’ve used a special grade ’nickel steel’.

The supply of this type premium grade raw material has very long lead times. In order to avoid long lead times of finished product to our customer, we currently have a strategic stock of over 100 tons, available in several dimensions.

As we use a combination of state of the art CNC machine centers tightly integrated with CAD/CAM software, we are able to produce these scrapchoppers with a 3D pre-machined curved cutting blade.

This saves our customers a lot of time when they grind these blades to their final tolerances.
